Frequently Asked Questions


I have no experience with shamanism, is that OK?
No previous experience with shamanism, drumming or meditation is necessary. The course takes you step by step through the basics of shamanic practice and the structure of a shamanic journey. The exercises are easy to follow and have as much depth and meaning as you give them. You will have the opportunity to ask questions via the facebook group and during any live calls that are offered.
I am only Reiki Level 1, can I still do the course?
The course is aimed at Reiki Level 2 Practitioners as, with some of the techniques, knowledge of the Reiki Level 2 symbols is required. If you are Reiki Level 1, you may still learn the techniques but they will have more power if you are already attuned to and familiar with the Reiki Level 2 symbols. If you are Reiki Level 1, you may complete the course, however, certification will not be offered.
What if I already work with sound journeys, drumming, shamanism and/ or spirit guides Is this going to be too basic for me?
No! If you feel called to join this course, then tune in and allow Reiki to guide you. There is always something to learn from experiencing the shamanic journey. This course does cover the basics and will encourage you to look at all of your current practices and ways that you work with Reiki and connect with the other realms with fresh eyes and a new perspective. Our path to wholeness and working with spirit unfurls in layers and there is always something to learn from even what we might first perceive as simple teachings.

How long do I have access to the course?
Lifetime access for as long as the course is running! You can access whenever you need to and also it's possible to download the content too.
I'm on the fence about joining what should I do?
Consider Shamanic Reiki Drum training as way more than just a course. It will help you develop your intuition and your personal connection with your guides to help you feel more confident and clearer about your path ahead. It will also help you expand your professional practice with new offerings for clients and ways to approach healing. The teachings come with professional support via a supportive Facebook group where you'll be a voice not an echo among a community of like-minded people who are on the path. The tools this training offers will help you tune into the answers that you seek to those questions in your heart, so that in the future you will have more confidence in your inner knowing and feel supported on your Reiki journey.
I'm busy, and don’t have much spare time to study, how long does the course take?
Each lesson is divided into short 20 - 30 minute sections so you won't find hours of video to watch in one go. The amount of time you take on the practical exercises is up to you. A typical practice journey can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. The Shamanic path is not a linear process. The time that you put into practicing your journeys will reap rewards and your path will proceed at the perfect pace for you. Once you have learnt these basic skills they are yours to refine, practice and develop as your relationship with the spirit world expands.
